The Dirty Laundry Crew
Our instructors are the heart of Dirty Laundry. They’re here to challenge you, encourage you, turn up the heat, and remind you that your practice doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Each brings their own energy, experience, music, and point of view into the room, but they all share one thing: a belief that yoga should feel real, welcoming, and transformative. No egos. No perfection. Just good humans creating space for you to move, sweat, breathe, and show up exactly as you are.

Lauren
FOUNDER
Lauren created Dirty Laundry after moving to Santa Fe in 2022 and searching for a yoga studio where she could move through heartbreak, feel something real, and find community. When she couldn’t find it, she built it herself. Dirty Laundry is an extension of who she is—intense, unpretentious, emotional, and loving—with one mission at its core: creating a space where everyone feels like they belong. As a teacher, Lauren will push you, challenge you, and encourage you to do things you didn’t know you could do. Her classes are sweaty, music-heavy, emotional, and designed to make you feel something. Bring whatever is going on in your life into the room. Move through it, get stronger, let some shit go, and know she’s right there with you. She’s got you.
Music: “I like to teach challenging unique flows, typically set to emotional beats and heavy house.”

Teel
TEACHER
Teel has spent more than 30 years studying the human body, beginning with her natural healing practice in Dallas and continuing through her yoga practice. She holds multiple certifications in bodywork, including Advanced Anatomy & Physiology, Deep Tissue Manipulation, and Craniosacral Manipulation, and trained under Bikram Choudhury in 2002.
At Dirty Laundry, Teel brings a deep understanding of anatomy and a seasoned eye to help students connect more fully with their bodies. Her approach is simple: build strength safely, listen to your body, and become more comfortable in your own skin, one practice at a time.
Music: “I teach 26&2 with my full presence, clear verbal cueing and a close eye on form so everyone gets what they need that day. Same, but more playful, when teaching Quick&Dirty or a Sculpt class. My music vibe is moody synth-pop mixed with some ambient mixed with some electronica.”

Alexandra
TEACHER
Alexandra has been teaching yoga since 2011, and her love for both teaching and practicing continues to deepen with time. For her, there’s nothing more fulfilling—or humbling—than witnessing someone discover greater confidence, expand their capacity, and build a deeper sense of self-trust.She believes yoga can be an ancient, alchemical medicine and considers it an honor to guide others through the practice. Outside the studio, Alexandra loves back bending, Dune, painting, and, most of all, her dog Teli.
Music: “I do my best to teach with precision, clarity, and light-heartedness. I give lots of directional cues to work to focus deeper, deeper, deeper inward! House music or Gregorian chants all the way!”

Alex
TEACHER
Originally from Pasadena, California, Alex moved to Santa Fe in 2024 and quickly became part of the Dirty Laundry family. A Le Cordon Bleu graduate, she spent 10 years in the culinary and hospitality industry before transitioning her love of yoga into teaching in 2021.
Alex is certified in Yoga Barre, Sculpt, and Power Yoga and loves the variety each practice brings. Her classes are designed to help students feel confident, strong, and motivated while creating a space where everyone feels safe and seen. Her goal is simple: move, let go of the negative, and make room for the positive.

Emily
TEACHER
As a Vinyasa power flow and Yoga Sculpt instructor, I create complex, innovative flows that challenge both mental and physical limits. My classes blend dynamic strength with mobility to build lean muscles, prioritizing an environment where yogis can cultivate a practice that is sustainable for a lifetime while remaining deeply challenging. Classes are always set to evocative, soulful music from every era, creating an immersive backdrop that naturally guides the momentum of the movement. This is how we build a powerful, lifelong ritual that fuels you both on and off the mat—fostering a more compassionate relationship with your past, present, and future self.

Chase
TEACHER
Chase is a 200HR YST, personal trainer in progress, avid cross-trainer, and functional fitness junkie. He loves a creative Vinyasa sequence as much as a regimented flow—and spends just as much time building the perfect playlist as he does designing his classes.
In yoga, expect a thoughtful, slow build with breath-to-breath creative movement. In Sculpt or Quick n’ Dirty, expect to reach for the heavier weights. Whatever class you choose, the energy is high, the music is good, and you’re in very good hands.
Music: “I enjoy teaching comprehensive flows that ask of the whole body both in strength and balance. You can count on my playlist to be motivating and fun, balancing house music, new-age, electronic and a lot in between”.
-
Barrett
TEACHER
Barrett fell in love with yoga in 2007, drawn to the clarity and vitality it brought to her life. She completed her 200-hour YTT in Nashville in 2017 and her 500-hour YTT with Jason Crandell in 2024.
Her classes combine thoughtful alignment, physical and spiritual challenge, and a strong focus on rhythmic breath. Barrett is passionate about sharing yoga and breathwork as tools for healing, connection, and growth.
Outside the studio, she facilitates embodiment coaching and trauma release therapy, teaches the Enneagram, writes, hikes, spends time outdoors, snuggles her cat Bebe Kee, and loves a good Dave Matthews Band sing-along.
-
Emerald
TEACHER
With a background in neuroscience and a lifelong love of movement, Emerald is fascinated by the connection between the body and brain. Her movement journey spans everything from skiing and horseback riding to functional movement, all with the goal of helping people feel stronger, more capable, and more connected to their bodies.
Her classes are athletic, playful, and rooted in purposeful movement—with a playlist guaranteed to make your booty shake. Expect to sweat, work hard, question your choices, and probably discover a muscle you forgot you had.

Laura
TEACHER
Laura is driven by a love of exploration, creativity, and connection, experiencing yoga as a practice that builds awareness of both the world around us and within us. A devoted practitioner since 2000 and certified instructor since 2018, she has completed more than 500 hours of training.
Rooted in Vinyasa, Laura also weaves elements of yin, restorative yoga, and yoga nidra into her teaching. Her classes are dynamic and intentional, connecting movement with breath and creating a deep sense of flow. Expect to leave feeling warmed, stretched, invigorated, and more grounded in your body and mind.
-
Morgan
TEACHER
Morgan is a long time ER nurse and mom to a wild, red-headed toddler. She has been a student of movement since she was a little girl, by way of dance and soccer. She earned her bachelor’s in Exercise Science while playing college soccer at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, and later became a Registered Nurse.
She teaches Quick n’ Dirty and strives to create a fun, tempo-based strength workout with a serious focus on form, anatomy and consistency. The majority of her classes are taught to deep house & Indie grooves – moody remixes and sun soaked beats to keep the energy rolling without going full rave. Expect lots of sweat, laughs, and to leave stronger than you came in.
Off the mat, Morgan loves chasing mountaintop sunsets: skiing, trail running, mountain biking and adventuring with her little family. Strength training keeps her solid on the trails, and strong enough to pick up her toddler for the hundredth time in a day.
